ATSI Health Services in Manjimup & Collie
MaCAHS- Manjimup and Collie Aboriginal Health Service
GP down south runs Aboriginal Health Services in the towns of Manjimup and Collie. Each town has two dedicated Aboriginal Health workers who assist Indigenous clients in accessing mainstream medical services. Developing strategies and providing resources to improve the health and wellbeing of the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) community is a priority for GP down south.
The GP down south local Aboriginal Health workers help to reduce the cultural barriers and differences that the ATSI population faces when accessing health services. They provide an appropriate cultural bridge for both the Indigenous clientele and the health providers in Manjimup and Collie. For further information on these services go to the ATSI Health Services page by this link or by using the Left Hand Side Menu.
