Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing Centre – Mandurah
GP down south is contracted to staff and manage this new health and wellbeing centre (‘the Centre’). We seek to employ suitably qualified staff members to provide a range of services from this purpose built facility. The Centre has been funded by WA Health to provide medical, dental, nursing, mental health and a range of other services to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the Peel region.
Practice Nurse - 0.6 FTE (22.5hrs per week)
We seek an experienced Practice Nurse to support General Practitioners working at the Centre and to assist in the coordination and care of Aboriginal clients. The successful applicant will be a registered nurse, licensed to practice in WA, will have demonstrated experience working in a primary health care setting and with people with chronic and complex health issues, and the demonstrated ability to work effectively with Aboriginal clients within a multi-disciplinary team.
