The 2019 GP Down South, 3 Tier Youth Mental Health Program for 2019 was held at Lakes Theatre on the 27th February 2019.
Mental Health Global Ambassador Heath Black facilitated the event presenting his story of his experience with Mental Health issues and diagnosis of Bipolar and ADHD.
Over 450 year 10 students from 9 schools within the Peel region attended the presentation.
This year the students received a bag of resources to promote the services that are available to them and their families, in the new Peel Health Hub.
Tier 2 Workshops are being conducted in the month of March within each school with topics such as anxiety, stress and bullying being delivered by both Heath Black and Amy Coombe
