We are delighted that Miranda Kelleher has been appointed Program Manager for Down South Aboriginal Health. Miranda has been with the DSAH team and GP down south for over four years having started as an Administrative Officer / Outreach Worker in Collie.
In 2018 Miranda successfully completed a Certificate IV in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care. A huge achievement given Miranda juggled full-time work along with her family commitments whilst completing the course via correspondence.
In 2019 Miranda moved from Collie to Manjimup and took up the position of Aboriginal Health Worker and Care Coordinator. She has been working closely with the local community and delivering many primary health programs to inform and support their health and wellbeing journey.
Miranda put her application in upon the resignation of the previous Program Manager, Annette Lawrence and will lead the DSAH team from 4 January 2021. We look forward to Miranda bringing her energy and innovative ideas to this role.
