The annual event attracts 500 guests for an 8 course degustation meal with beer, wine and soft drink flowing all afternoon. The event is run by an entirely voluntary committee and over 80% of food and inftrastructure is sponsored or donated.
These funds will go toward the 3 Tier Youth Mental Health Program we run in the Warren-Blackwood - helping young people understand mental health issues, identify when they need to get help and give them the toold to ask for that help.
GP down south are proud and grateful to be part of this fantastic and worthwhile event. So much so, that one of our staff members has continued to offer voluntary service on the organising committee for the 2019 event.
GP down south is an exemplary not-for-profit community organisation. We have been providing health and wellbeing services in the Peel regions and the South West of WA since 1994.
