NAIDOC Week 2018 - South West

16/7/2018

PictureNAIDOC 2018 Collie Elders' Luncheon
This years theme celebrated the essential role that women have played - and continue to play - as active and significant role models at the community, local, state and national levels. GP down south had the pleasure of inviting a few women to a celebratory lunch for this year's NAIDOC theme - "Because Of Her We Can".
The luncheon was in attendance by Collette Wynne, Lynette Winmar, Karen Brisbane, Shirley Hayward and Marcia Ugle who all enjoyed laughs, sharing of memories and Collie history. The gathering was hosted by The Colliefields Restaurant on Tuesday the 10th of July and they did a fantastic job on providing the meals and desserts for the ladies.
