Smart 2 Ask Expo

27/2/2020

The Mental Health and Chronic Disease programs attended the Smart 2 Ask Pop-up Expo this week.  They were among over 60 organisations and service providers who help socially and financially vulnerable people.

Exhibitors were surprised at the demand for information and number of visitors to the expo.   The need for information on low or not cost services is high in the Bunbury area and GP down south is one of the key organisations providing valuable services to the community.

Half hourly prize draws saw visitors winning prizes which were donated by the 60 odd services and organisations represented on the day.

From 11am to 7pm, around 60 local service providers were on hand to assist with providing information, services and demonstrations.  Bunnings held workshops and gave away plants, there were cooking demonstrations, hair dressers, free clothes, eye tests and lots of information on budgeting and how to make precious dollars go further.
