No, not the one you are thinking of. This one is about connecting colleagues to bring about positive lifestyle changes over the course of 100 days. GP down south staff have decided to get on board with the Virgin Pulse Global Challenge to build better habits mixed with a bit of friendly inter-team competition.
We love people and working remotely has had its challenges. So, we are taking our own advice and finding new ways to look after ourselves and stay connected. For 100 days, GP down south staff will compete in teams of seven as the Global Challenge takes us on a virtual journey around the world to improve both physical and psychological health.
There are five modules that highlight key areas for leading a healthy and active lifestyle – all delivered with a high dose of fun and a feel-good factor. As well as recording physical activity through steps and various activities (including gardening), we will be looking at nutrition, sleep, balance and focus. We start on 27th May!
GP down south is an exemplary not-for-profit community organisation. We have been providing health and wellbeing services in the Peel regions and the South West of WA since 1994.
